Free Competition Terms and Conditions
1. By entering the claw machine competition, you are agreeing to these prize terms and conditions.
2. The competition is being run by Hörmann (UK) Ltd Gee Road, Coalville, LE67 4JW.
Eligibility to enter
3. The competition is open to entrants over 18 years of age, and an attendee and or distributor at the Fit Show 2025. (Hörmann (UK) Ltd staff members are excluded from the draw).
4. In entering the competition, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and eligible to claim the composite door you may win.
5. A maximum of one entry per individual is permitted.
6. The competition is free to enter, and no purchase is necessary to enter. But you must be signed up for Hörmann Rewards or register on the day.
How to enter
7. You must be signed up to the Hörmann Rewards to play on the claw machine at the NEC Birmingham FIT SHOW 29th April -1st May 2025, 10am-5pm. You will not be able to play after that time and date.
8. To enter the competition, you simply have to play on the claw machine to see what prizes you can win on Stand H20, Hall 9.
9. Hörmann (UK) Ltd will not accept responsibility if contact details provided are incomplete or inaccurate.
The prize
10. The top prize will be a ‘Truedor Composite Door’ and smaller prizes of Hörmann merchandise, Rewards points and vouchers. The composite door prize will consist only of the door and must be ordered through a Hörmann distributor, fitting of the product is not included. The door will only be options from the Classic44 range.
11. Hörmann (UK) Ltd use of particular brands as prizes does not imply any affiliation with or endorsement of such brands. The FIT SHOW 2025 does not have any affiliation or endorsement for this competition and are not liable for any entrants.
12. The winners will be the people that pick a ball out of the claw machine, they will only get one go at this.
13. The prize is non-exchangeable, non-transferable and no cash alternatives will be offered.
14. We reserve the right to substitute prizes with another prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond our control make it necessary to do so.
15. The decision of Hörmann (UK) Ltd regarding any aspect of the competition is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into about it.
Winner announcement
16. The winner will be notified immediately by opening the ball which will specify the prize won.
Receipt of the prize
17. Please collect the prize from the Hörmann Stand, stand H20, Hall 9, at the FIT SHOW 2025 from Miss Marizel Le Roux, Marketing Coordinator ([email protected]). Some prizes may not be available immediately but will be sent out directly from the 5th May 2025.
Data protection and publicity
18. You consent to any personal information you provide in entering the prize draw being used by Hörmann (UK) Ltd for the purposes of administering the prize draw, and for those purposes as defined within our privacy notice.
19. All entrants may apply for details of the winning participant by contacting us at [email protected]
20. The winner agrees to the release of their first name and place of work to any other prize draw participants if requested via Hörmann (UK) Ltd.
21. An announcement of the winners first name and place of work will be made via Hörmann (UK) Ltd social media platforms, not limited to Instagram, LinkedIn and Facebook.
22. All personal information shall be used in accordance with Hörmann (UK) Ltd Privacy Notice.
Limitation of Liability
23. Hörmann (UK) Ltd does not accept any liability for any damage, loss, injury or disappointment suffered by any entrants as a result of either participating in the, Hörmann (UK) Ltd does not exclude its liability for death or personal injury as a result of its own negligence.
24. Hörmann (UK) Ltd does not provide any form of practical or IT support for this prize. On receipt, all responsibilities relating to warranty and the product are that of the prize winner.
General
25. Hörmann (UK) Ltd reserves the right to cancel the competition or amend these terms and conditions at any time, without prior notice.
26. The competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by English law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
