At the end of this course the candidate will have:
A thorough understanding of Hörmann Retractable & Canopy Doors
Knowledge of the different types of fitting issues and remedies used
Understanding of the correct installation processes for Retractable & Canopy Doors
Candidates cannot be considered competent installation or maintenance operatives on completion of this course. Although it discusses the problems, standards and pitfalls of electrical work in this environment, it does not provide the knowledge or experience necessary to be considered as electrically skilled. These very important craft-based skills and knowledge must be gained by supervised field experience in addition to attending relevant manufacturers product specific training.
This training course is aimed at domestic door installation and maintenance site operatives. Please note that the course is not suitable for non-engineering staff members.
The course runs from 09:45 to 14:00; candidates need to be on site by 09:30 prompt as the course includes a very full itinerary. Tea and coffee and a buffet lunch will be provided. Please contact Hörmann to discuss bookings and any special dietary needs.

As the course involves hands on installation training suitable workwear and PPE is required including Steel Toe Cap Boots/Shoes., we have a strict no shorts policy within the training academy.

Parking is available opposite reception in our visitor spaces. If there are no visitor spaces available please ask the receptionist who can advise of alternative parking.
When you report to reception you will be given a Hörmann badge to show you are here as a visitor. Please wear this at all times.
We have two designated smoking areas within our car parks. We would ask you to use the one on the left side of the main entrance.
If you would like to amend your booking, you must contact Natalie Ainge to discuss the changes. We reserve the right to accept or reject any requests.
Cancellation requests can be made over the phone, via email, or in person. Please be aware that if you do not attend the training session or do not cancel at least 24 hours in advance, your company will be invoiced £100 to cover related costs and training time.
We have the right to change the time and date of any event by providing you with written notice at least 24 hours in advance. If we notify you of a change to the booking, you have the option to cancel or reschedule.
